Chemical properties white (slightly yellowish powder, tasteless odourless. Soluble in dilute acids, soluble in water, not soluble in ethanol, ethyl ether and chloroform organic solvents. Resistance to light and heat, in the air more stable, hygroscopicity. Mice tramsotal LD50 than 21.5 g/kg. USES as antioxidants, GB 2760-1996 regulation can be used for food containing fat, edible oils, hydrogenated vegetable oil, instant noodles, maximum usage 0.2 g/kg, in infant formula of maximum usage 0.01 g/kg (with grease ascorbic acid in terms). In addition, still can make food nutrition fortifiers. Use used for feed additives
