Chemical properties colorless or light yellow liquid. Freezing points - and the boiling point ℃ 34.2 ℃ (165 167.3 ℃), 59-63 ℃ (2.66 kPa), ℃ (1.33 55.6 kPa), relative density 1.9822 (20/4 ℃), the refractive indexes, 1.5232 and flash point 54 ℃. Soluble in ethyl ether, acetone and chloroform, insoluble in water. Long heated, and part is decomposed into 1-2 bromine propane. And the water boils produce propylene glycol. Odurless, taste sweet, easy absorption of moisture.
