Potassium Ferrocyanide [ 14459-95-1 ]
Properties: Lemon yellow crystal or powder. Briny, soluble in water, not soluble in ethanol, ether, methyl acetate and liquid ammonia. Its density is 1.882-1.889. It loses water in crystal if heated up to 70 °C and produces white dehydrating compound when heated up to 100 °C . Giving off N2 when burning and produces potassium cyanide. Its solution will decompose to ferric hydrate when meeting light.
Uses: Used in manufacturing printing and dyeing, paints, inks, dynamite and other chemical reagent, also can be used in pharmaceutical field, metallurgical industry and antiagglomerating agent for sodium chloride.
